Friday Amua and Whanaketanga all went to the Botanical Gardens
I wasn’t really excited but wanted to know more about plants and our
Native plants and Trees.Me and the boys were assigned to Ms Keropa’s group I was glad.Soon it was time to go and explore finding certain plants for our group sheet we had a hard time finding them but eventually we finished the first part of the sheet.
Now for the second part ,just had to find certain trees and plants it was easy but we went for a walk to see some Harakeke after walking for a while we came across a shocking dog poo it was disturbing but it was funny though.
Later lunch came our group was waiting for all the other boys to come back soon they came and we just wiped out all our lunch which was a bunch of chips, biscuits , and a lot of fizzy drinks about 8 of them I was very surprised
That everyone of us had all this food to bring I wasn’t expecting it but it was nice to see all the boys sharing around.Following on our group went to see a native tree and plant expert she gave a task to find these certain plants.
It was a fun task to do with everyone but she was giving us a little mystery to figure out a word, and it was an interesting word, biodiversity which means different to others and it was interesting to know aboutThis my story of going to the botanical gardens.
Kia ora Jacob,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your thoughts and impressions about the botanical gardens. I wonder if you can use the word biodiversity in your learning in term 3! Just a little challenge for you.
